Tony was a friend of mine from art school. I was shooting for Frank Werber who owned Trident Productions. He had managed the Kingston Trio in the past and was now managing some rock and folk groups. We were going to do a book; he was my backer at the time. I was photographing people inside their environments to show what is like to live in the Counter-Culture.
